The Future’s Yours to Decide

She brightened up as he gave that exaggerated noise. She ruffled his hair with a playful little grin before they headed into the building. She didn’t let go of his hand, not bothered if anyone else saw them here. They knew to respect her privacy and not post anything on the internet or anything. Without asking of course. She tousled her hair a little though as she met him with a quick warm kiss in return before smiling and leading him through the studio.

She went the opposite direction of the way that Danny normally went, leading him to her office and pushing the door open. “Tah da!” She grinned a little before smiling. She put her ipad on her desk and looked up to him. “You want anything to drink? I think I have some pepsi in my mini fridge.” she said casually, easily pulling her coffee maker to her on the small table and getting it ready so she could fill her travel mug.

Sitting himself comfortably down when they got to her desk, he smiled at her and shook his head, “I’m good for right now.”  It was odd though, to see this side of the Polaris stuff though, and to no less have been walking through holding her hand.  Suddenly life was high school again and he was a giddy young man who was dating his crush.  He looked with her with as much adoration as he felt for her– not really because he couldn’t, it wasn’t physically possible to look at someone with that much care and love.  Dan couldn’t help but smile at her whenever he looked at her.

He could write a thousand songs just to tell her how much he thought she was beautiful, “So what’s first on the agenda?”  Her chair– which he had ‘stolen’– was incredibly comfortable, and it allowed him to lean back a bit as he– for the first time really– looked up at her.  "Daily Byte?  Unnamed project number 336?  Board meetings I’m not allowed to sit in on?“
