The Future’s Yours to Decide

“I’m happy to. I love spending time with you. ” she said with a little grin before looking down a little and squeezing his hand tight. She looked out the window again, watching the buildings pass by before looking back over to him. They were almost there, she was a little sad at the thought though. She threw her hair out of her face and smiled when they pulled into the parking lot.

“That sounds perfect actually, my beds a bit smaller so we might have to be squished together but you know, that’s not really a bad thing.” She giggled lightly, deciding to just leave her backpack in the car, only grabbing her ipad out of it. “It should be a fun night, come on lets get inside before I get yelled at for being late.” Dodger laughed and climbed out of the car, her fingertips tucking around the ends of his in the laziest hand hold ever as she walked towards the door.

“Squeezing together to get all close with you?”  Audible gasp, “Oh no, it’s not as if we didn’t already kind of do that last night.”  He exaggerated a laugh, and slid out of the car, closing it, and once she got what she needed out of the back seat, locking it.  "Pfft, I think getting here about ten minutes early warrants at least some walking instead of running.“  Though he wasn’t exactly savvy to all the things needed to get her ready to shoot, since for him all he had to do sometimes was slap on some spandex and a felt cape.

As they walked to the door, his fingers lightly lace with hers and he’s quick to give her a kiss before they walk in.  It felt weird to be coming here for no reason in particular besides to visit with her while she did things.  It was refreshing that he still had some free time to waste on her, even if he was technically taking up her work time now, even though he wouldn’t dare interfere with actual work.
