Pay No Attention to the Wizard in the Bushes
The wizard spent life in seclusion most of the time, visiting kingdoms at infrequent times, anonymously of course, to visit and buy wares. Daniel enjoyed the solitary life for the most part though, enjoying the occasional visits from Sir Hanson, Knave O'Donovan, and the Mysterious Brian. However he immediately could tell this person was none of the three. A stranger visiting the wizard atop the mountain and approaching the cave he called home.
Most people were too afraid to venture this far into the mountains. Usually if they were bold enough they came either shouting and screaming or he’d met them personally in the past. Tapping his staff at the rocks at his feet, the wizard leaned on it, and raised a brow at the newcomer, letting his tattered cloak drape over his body to mostly hide himself.
“Can I help you, weary traveler, or is it someone else you seek here?”
